Consistent Character Creator - Mass Effect 3's Shepard creator is used across all three games, and has new options imported from Mass Effect Andromeda.These let you choose the most important decisions from the story so far before jumping fresh into one of the sequels. Genesis Comics - The Genesis and Genesis 2 comics, originally made for the PS3 and Wii U ports of ME2 and 3, are available when starting a new Shepard in the sequels.For better balancing and progression, these items are now integrated throughout the game by being found in levels or available at Merchants. DLC Weapons and Armor are worked into the game - Mass Effect 2 and 3 came with a lot of weapon and armour DLC packs that were unlocked instantly at the start of the game.All Single Player DLC is Here - With the exception of Mass Effect 1's Pinnacle Station, every piece of single player DLC content is available in the Legendary Edition, from Bring Down the Sky all the way to Citadel.Further, Mass Effect 2 treats all ME1 Profiles at Levels 57-59 as Level 60, meaning you no longer have to play though ME1's story twice to get all the import bonuses.This reduces the frequency of leveling up to be closer to the sequels. Legendary Mode Level Scaling - A Legendary Mode option is now available, which adjusts the level cap in Mass Effect 1 from 30 to 60, while the rewards are for leveling up are doubled.Favor render quality and frame rate is also available: Improved Performance - Depending on the platform and mode of your choosing, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition will have improved performance and resolutions, and HDR is now possible.Photo Mode - You can now access a photo mode across all three games, letting you take gorgeous screenshots and take in all the added detail.New trophies and achievements have been added as well. Unified Trophies and Achievements - Trophies and Achievements are now tracked across all three games through the ME:LE game launcher.Skippable Elevators - Tired of long elevator rides? You can skip them now! There are some interesting conversations during the elevator rides, but if you're tired of hearing about Francis Kitt's Hamlet with Elcor cast members for the fifteenth time, this is a welcome addition.Faster Loading Times - Thanks to the Series X|S and PS5's SSDs, load times are now only a few seconds across all areas of the game, from dropping onto an Uncharted world to riding an elevator.Better assets from sequels and DLC have been reverse-implemented across the board, and Mass Effect 1 levels now appear more like they did in the sequels. Graphical Overhaul - While still running in Unreal Engine 3, all three games have been given better textures, models, lighting, rendering and effects.These are most notable and significant ones, many of which are felt most in Mass Effect 1. Some changes aren't quite as drastic as others.
